The new 2013 BMW 7 Series is set to arrive in U.S. BMW showrooms this summer, except for the revised ActiveHybrid7 which will arrive in early fall. This newly updated series will once again raise the bar in its class for performance, luxury, efficiency, and safety.
Many updates are expected for the new 7 Series, including powertrain upgrades for the 740Li and 750Li models. The 740Li is set to receive an inline-6 cylinder engine while the 750Li will feature a V8. In addition, BMW’s intelligent all-wheel drive system, xDrive, will be available on the 740Li.
The 2013 7 series will have revised exterior and interior features as well. New technologies such as available LED headlights will make the exterior stand out like never before, while a newly redesigned iDrive system and an optional Band and Olufsen High-End Surround Sound system will set the standard for luxury interiors.
In order to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, every 7 Series model will now feature an intelligent 8-speed Steptronic transmission. Auto Start-Stop, Break Energy Regeneration, and the second-generation Driving Dynamics Control with ECO PRO mode will offer additional potential for fuel-saving.
The 2013 7 Series is expected to raise the bar for its class in performance, luxury and efficiency. With impressive new upgrades, this luxury ride will definitely give drivers something to brag about.
