BMW introduced the new 3 Series Gran Turismo in hopes of adding some innovation to the series while still giving BMW fans what they know and love. The coupe style four-door combines new ideas (active rear spoiler for example) with the eye pleasing aesthetics similar to its 5 Series cousin.
The BMW 3 Series GT will come standard with a Six-speed manual gear box (eight-speed automatic optional), 4 or 6 cylinder engine (depending on trim level), and is said to average around a 6.2 0-60 mph time.
Below are the trim levels available for the new BMW 3 Series GT
The BMW 3 Series will also include new additions to the cabin for both the driver and their passengers. Passengers seated in the rear will enjoy additional leg room, usually reserved for luxury models, as well as being able to enjoy the full breadth of the seat bench thanks to the GT’s longer wheelbase. Large door pockets, an array of storage compartments, fully adjustable driver seat, and additional cup holders are great for giving both driver and passenger’s long-distance comfort.
Although actual release of the model is expected to be at the Geneva Motor Show in March, we here at BMW Bowling Green are just as excited to see the leaked information and photos. We can’t wait for spring so we can see this new 3 Series addition rolls in!
