Many BMW fans have been flooding our telephone lines here at BMW of Bowling Green wanted to know more information on the new 2014 BMW M5 and M6 models, and when they’ll hopefully hit our lots! We’ll although we may not have any in stock just yet, we do have some of the latest news when it comes to some of the packages that the 2014 BMW M5 and M6 will now be offering!
BMW confirmed not too long ago that the new 2014 BMW M5 and M6 models will be available with competition packages. These packages will include seven speed dual clutch transmissions (or a six speed manual) and ramps up the standard horsepower of the standard M5 to 575 miles per hour. Also coming with the new package is recalibrated steering, front bushings, M chassis control system, and 20 inch M light alloy wheels; just to name a few of the adjustments. On top of the overall sports performance upgrades, these new models will also be shaving, although only a little, off their 0-60 time.
The interior of these new models will also be seeing a new steering wheel look, touchpad for the iDrive controller, new trim, and slightly more storage. Unfortunately, we haven’t heard anything about pricing yet but BMW has told several sources that price listings will be available closer to the 2014 BMW M5 and M6 release dates in August.
